Naomi Williams

Biography

Naomi Williams is an Assistant Psychologist at The London Neurocognitive Clinic, where she supports qualified clinicians in the assessment and rehabilitation of individuals presenting with neurological, cognitive and psychological difficulties. Her role includes contributing to therapy planning, monitoring patient progress, supporting neuropsychological interventions and assisting with multidisciplinary clinical work.

Her work focuses on promoting independence, emotional wellbeing and progress towards personalised rehabilitation goals, while working closely with neuropsychologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists to ensure that observations and progress are incorporated into wider treatment planning.

Naomi has a particular interest in neurorehabilitation, acquired brain injury and Functional Neurological Disorder. She is developing specialist experience in psychologically informed rehabilitation, behavioural observation and goal-based intervention, and is especially interested in the relationship between neuropsychological practice and cognitive research.

Before moving into clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation, Naomi developed substantial experience in behavioural consultancy and programme management. She worked in leadership development and project management roles involving psychometric administration, stakeholder liaison, programme delivery, data interpretation and applied behavioural science. This background has given her strong organisational, communication and analytical skills that complement her developing clinical practice.

Awards & Education

Naomi completed her BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of York before undertaking an MSc Psychology Conversion at Queen Mary University of London.

Her continuing professional development includes training in evidence-based formulation and treatment of Functional Neurological Symptoms and understanding the effects of acquired brain injury. She continues to develop her knowledge in neuropsychology, neurorehabilitation, acquired brain injury and psychologically informed rehabilitation practice.

Across her work, Naomi is committed to compassionate, person-centred rehabilitation and to supporting individuals in ways that recognise both the cognitive and emotional impact of neurological conditions.
