Biography
Dr Watson is a clinical psychologist with particular interest in cognitive psychology and neurorehabilitation. He believes in taking a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach with clients and draws on a range of psychological models for intervention, including CBT, cognitive remediation therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-focused approaches.
Awards & Education
Dr Watson completed his clinical doctorate in psychology (DClinPsy) at the world-renowned Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. Previous to this, he completed a PhD in Cognitive Neuropsychology at the Institute of Neurology, University College London, and a Master’s degree in Integrative Neuroscience at Imperial College London.
Dr Watson has worked extensively with individuals across the lifespan, with special interests in unusual experiences, psychosis, mood disorders (including bipolar), trauma, and cognitive impairment, and has experience in conducting a range of comprehensive neuropsychological assessments. His research work has led to multiple publications in world-leading journals.
