Biography
Dr Jayde Dix is a compassionate, practical clinical psychologist with broad experience in working with adults with complex mental health needs and autism (ASD). Dr Dix has strong assessment skills to diagnose neurodevelopmental conditions and is committed to conducting assessments that are thorough, holistic, and have meaningful outcomes for the client. She recognises the importance of deeply understanding our unique strengths and challenges and takes pride in supporting people in this process.
In therapy, Dr Dix combines her therapeutic skills and expertise with each client’s needs, hopes, and preferences. She believes that by tailoring therapy to each individual and building strong relationships, the best outcomes can be achieved. Dr Dix uses CBT, CFT, and ACT as her primary models. She has specialist training in trauma-focussed therapies and has published research in this area.
Awards & Education
Dr Jayde Dix graduated from University College London with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, before returning to obtain a post-graduate diploma in cognitive behavioural therapy for psychosis. Since graduating, Dr Dix has applied her skills as a clinical psychologist with adults and young people in both NHS and private settings. She has gained experience assessing autism in the general adult population as well as in people with psychosis and other mental health needs. Dr Dix has held roles working with adults with first episode psychosis, complex PTSD, and a range of depression and anxiety difficulties.
