Biography
Dr Scott is an experienced and motivated Clinical Psychologist with a wealth of qualified experience in the field. She works with client cases across the lifespan ranging from acquired and traumatic brain injury, Dementia, PTSD, and mood disorders to a more novel subject of the effects of long Covid and Brain Fog. Dr Scott delivers high quality care and expertise in her work, as demonstrated through her delivery of comprehensive individual neuropsychological assessments of clients who experience ongoing and complex neuropsychological difficulties, and her dedication to individualised rehabilitation methods for her clients.
Awards & Education
Dr Scott received her degree in Psychology from the University of Sussex before completing her MSc in Applied Psychology at Brunel University and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Canterbury Christ Church University in 2012. Dr Scott currently leads the Stroke Psychology Service in Mid Essex and recently led on the Cognitive Pathway within the Long Covid Assessment and Rehabilitation Service. Dr Scott has also published extensive research within her field including therapeutic treatment methods and brain injury, including work into Subarachnoid Haemorrhages and quality of life, presented at conferences, facilitated workshops for clients and carers in the local community, and worked with local and national charities.
