Biography
As the clinical director of the London Neurocognitive Clinic, Dr Simblett is committed to the provision of neuropsychological assessment, neurorehabilitation, and psychological therapy offered in a respectful and non-judgemental manner. She works collaboratively to support people to understand their strengths, deal with difficult problems, and achieve important goals.
Awards & Education
Dr Simblett completed a doctorate in clinical psychology (DClinPsy) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience in King’s College London. Prior to this, Dr Simblett completed a PhD in neuropsychology at University of Cambridge, and an MSc in Neuropsychology at University of Bristol. Dr Simblett has been awarded public engagement grants in London, as well as a British Academy-funded brain injury workshop in Brazil.
Since qualifying as a clinical psychologist, Dr Simblett has worked in both community, out-patient and in-patient neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation services within the NHS and has set up a neuropsychological assessment clinic in the NHS, focusing on understanding and rehabilitating individuals with Bipolar Disorder.
